Black Nitride

"Radium Eyes". What color would they be?

There is a song by Count Zero called "Radium Eyes" and I just want know what color that would be.

According to the ever-so-reliable source of Wikipedia:
"When freshly prepared, pure radium metal is brilliant white, but blackens when exposed to air (probably due to nitride formation). Radium is luminescent (giving a faint blue color), reacts violently with water and oil to form radium hydroxide and is slightly more volatile than barium. The normal phase of radium is a solid."

Would they be black, white, or white with a bluish glow?

I'm very interested to know...

i think a sort of pinkish with green/blue fleks in them
